In this assignment, my class had to create a 2 minute video exploring a space that was important to us. I decided to film at the Kensington Metroparks Nature Center due to the rich history I have there.

For this piece, I picked the Kensington Nature Center as my environmental space to highlight. I grew up visiting the nature center frequently and continue to do so to this day. Nature serves as inspiration for my art, and I wanted to showcase how the space contains local wildlife which cultivated for me an appreciation of Michigan critters. Currently, climate change is a concerning issue that is affecting every environment worldwide. I hope that, through this video, I inspire others to visit their local nature centers and reserves to learn more about the world around them so that they are motivated to preserve it.
